Rekha has spent over 14 years doing professional makeup on real faces — brides, NRI clients, high-profile occasions, fashion shoots, and editorial work.
She trained in London and brought that expertise back to Bangalore. She’s worked with some of the most challenging skin conditions — Rosacea, acne-prone skin, extremely oily skin — and figured out how to create flawless results without piling on layers.
Her philosophy has never changed: enhance, never alter. No skin tone correction, no overdone looks. Just makeup that feels like the best version of you. At Gajahasta, she teaches exactly the way she works — hands on, personalised, no shortcuts.
Before You Ask
Do I need any prior experience?
Not at all. The workshops are designed for beginners. You learn the technique, practise it on yourself, and get corrected as you go.
Do I need to bring my own products?
No — you don’t need to buy a new makeup kit for the workshop. We provide the products you need during the session, and you’re also welcome to bring the ones you already own and use, so we can show you how to use them properly.
There’s no need to shop beforehand. You can decide what you actually need to buy after the session, once you know what works for you.
Will I really learn makeup in just two sessions?
Yes and no. Yes — you’ll learn every technique you need to create the makeup look you want, practising each one on your own face while we guide and correct you. No — because perfecting a technique takes time and practice. You’ll leave with the skills and confidence to keep improving, and our feedback support continues after the workshop.
What happens after the workshop ends and I still want help?
Learning doesn’t stop when the session ends. Every workshop includes feedback support with direct access to Rekha — 2 weeks for Unnati and 1 month for Shringar — so you can ask questions, troubleshoot and keep improving as you practise at home.

Do you have online classes?
Yes. Unnati is available online or at the studio. Shringar is an in-person experience.

Need to cancel? It depends on how much notice you give:
7 or more days before your workshop: you get a refund of what you paid, except the GST. GST is the tax included in the price, and that part isn’t refunded.
Less than 7 days before: we’re not able to offer a refund.
